The The company was originally known as EMCO MAIER based in Austria, where they produced a wide range of lathes, milling and drilling machines, all to a high standard. In recent years the small lathes Unimat 4, Compact 5 and Compact 8 are being produced elsewhere to EMCO’s specification.
